Tehsil Mangaldoi, District Darang (Mangaldoi), Assam, Bharat.

Mangaldoi (also spelt as Mangaldai) (Assamese: মঙলদৈ) is a town and head quarter of Darrang district in the Indian state of Assam. It was named after "Mangaldahi" who was the daughter of the [Raja] of Darrang and who was married to the Ahom King [Pratap Singha].
